Advance Practice Clinicians (APCs) in the Emergency Department and Urgent Cares enjoy real-time physician support. This allows our APCs to expand and refine their practice while working alongside a physician or collaborating 24/7 by phone.

Mentorship.
When joining the Emergency Department team, our Advance Practice Clinicians have the opportunity to develop their emergency skills. Each new APC is initially scheduled as an extra provider in the department and is mentored by a team of experienced Emergency Physicians until they are fully prepared to provide care with less direct oversight.
